What we paint

Four lanes of work, one standard of finish.

Each lane below covers what we'll quote on, the typical project shape, and what makes our approach hold up in mountain weather.

Lane 01

Residential painting

Interior and exterior houses in Big Bear, Lake Arrowhead, and the Inland Empire. Owner-occupied homes, second homes, and rentals.

  • Whole-house exteriors with prep, masking, and two-coat coverage
  • Interior repaints — full house, single rooms, ceilings, and trim
  • A-frame and chalet-style restoration with steep-grade ladder work
  • Deck staining, fascia and trim, garage doors
  • Color consultation if you don't know what you want yet
Lane 02

Commercial painting

Storefronts, vacation-rental property managers, and light commercial buildings around the lake and down the hill.

  • Storefront and façade repaints scheduled around your business hours
  • Rental cabin and vacation-property turnover painting between bookings
  • Light commercial buildouts — offices, shops, hospitality
  • Recurring-maintenance contracts for property managers
Lane 03

Cabinets & furniture

Kitchen and bath cabinet refinishing, built-ins, doors, and custom furniture — including the rustic mountain pieces we've built our reputation on.

  • Cabinet refinishing with degrease, sand, prime, and 2-coat lacquer or enamel
  • Custom-color matching for built-ins and millwork
  • Rustic furniture finishes — stained, distressed, hand-rubbed
  • Door refinishing — entry, interior, and barn
Lane 04

Specialty finishes

The finishes that need a steady hand and the right product for mountain conditions. We don't subcontract any of this.

  • High-gloss and lacquer applications for cabinetry, doors, and trim
  • Stain matching on existing wood
  • Log-home staining and re-staining (Perma-Chink, Sashco systems)
  • Elastomeric and waterproofing coats for high-UV mountain exteriors

03

Masking, sanding, caulking, priming, and repairs. The day that decides whether the finish lasts five years or twelve.

04

Two coats, full clean-up, and a final walk with you before we close out. Touch-ups handled on the spot.

FAQ

The questions homeowners ask on the first call.

How quickly can you start a job in Big Bear?

Most exterior jobs go on the calendar within 1–2 weeks in the painting season (April through October). Interior and cabinet work can usually start within a week. Call (909) 555-0146 for a current scheduling window.

Do you handle high decks and tall A-frames?

Yes. We carry the ladders, scaffolding, and harnesses for two- and three-story exteriors and steep mountain pitches. We've painted lakeside two-stories, ridge-line cabins, and steep-grade lots throughout Big Bear and Moonridge.

Do you give free estimates?

Yes. On-site walk-throughs and written bids are free anywhere in the valley. We typically need 15–30 minutes to scope a house and get measurements.

What products do you use for mountain exteriors?

We default to premium acrylics and elastomerics built for UV exposure and freeze-thaw cycling — typically Sherwin-Williams Emerald, Benjamin Moore Aura Exterior, or comparable. For log-home staining we use Perma-Chink or Sashco depending on the substrate.

Are you licensed and bonded?

Yes. a licensed California painter (Painting and Decorating, active), a $15,000 contractor's bond and workers' compensation coverage. Documentation available on request.

Do you do rental property turnover?

Yes. Vacation rental and Airbnb turnover painting is a regular part of our work — particularly for owners who manage their own rentals in Moonridge, Big Bear Lake, and Lake Arrowhead.
